Enjoy Cocktails on the Rails through the Champlain Valley

This intimate 20-passenger experience will surely make you feel as if you’re in a 1930s movie—only this “speakeasy” is on a moving train! Enjoy a relaxing 2.5-hour round-trip train ride from Burlington to Vergennes, delicious hot and cold hors-d’ oeuvres, and delightful cocktails (or mock-tails!). Our lounge car has comfortable leather barrel seats, direct bar access, and a restroom.

What to Expect:

• 20 leather barrel seats, 10 on each side of the train with one large drink ledge around the outside
• Direct access to the bar
• Hot & Cold Hors-d’oeuvres
• Please note that this is the bar/lounge of the dinner train, which will be running simultaneously. We do not assign a server to the lounge car; our bartender will be available to you throughout the night. The dinner train servers will pass through the lounge and keep the food refreshed in your car. Dinner train meals are not available to purchase in the lounge.
• You can purchase Dinner Train tickets and Cocktails on the Rails tickets if you’d like to have both experiences (formerly known as “Gold Class”).
