Dave Richardson
Guitarist/songwriter Ethan Robbins, of Americana band Cold Chocolate, began his bluegrass career at Oberlin College where he began to explore how this hard-driving fast-paced genre could be stretched. Over the last five years, Cold Chocolate has established itself as a force in the Americana genre.
AmerikanaBlue is an acoustic trio that features music you might have heard in a Greenwich Village coffeehouse in the late 60's. Folk songs, protest, plantation Blues, country... anything that someone with a Sears guitar and an ounce of courage might get up and sing during an open mic!

Steeped in folk traditions and infused with a modern sensibility, Dave Richardson’s songs feature character-driven narratives and reflections on the natural world. With his clear, engaging vocals he shares tales of letting go, jumping in, and accepting change. Richardson's songwriting earned him honors in the 2017 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival songwriting contest. His new album “Carry Me Along” was released on February 23rd, 2018. This collection of songs was recorded with a full band and reflects the spirit of support and collaboration he has found within the folk community.
