Enjoy dinner on the train from Burlington to Middlebury with your family! Unlike our Champlain Valley Dinner Train, all ages are welcome on board this particular trip to celebrate Mom.  On this unique dining journey, you will enjoy a three-course gourmet dinner created on board our kitchen car (special kids menu available), and the beautiful Vermont landscape as it rolls by your window. Reconnect with friends and family and create memories you'll cherish forever.

LOCATION
The Mother's Day Dinner Train will depart from the platform located at Main Street Landing in Burlington. The Rail System does not own a parking lot in Burlington. Public parking is available; please see the parking map link below for specific pricing and details.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. TICKETS & RESERVATIONS
    - Payment is required upon reservation. - Reservations are not required in advance, but they are highly recommended. - A 20% Gratuity may be applied to parties exceeding 8 guests; otherwise, it is not included in the ticket price. - All tickets include a three-course dinner on board our three-hour train ride to Middlebury. - Beverages & Gratuity are additional. Full bar service available on board.
  1. SEATING
    - Our tables are fixed in traditional rail dining style which seats four people to a table. - Parties of two will not be required to sit with another party of two - For parties booking through separate orders (ex. party of 2 joining another party of 2), please book together as one party. Our new booking system will now allow our guests to choose their seats upon reservation. Booking as one party will help eliminate the possibility of separated seating. Please call for assistance if needed. - Parties larger than four may seat back to back on one side of the train or across from one another separated by the aisle. The choice will be yours upon booking. Please call for assistance if needed.
  1. BOARDING
    - Boarding will begin one hour before your departure time. - Please consider leaving extra time for traffic, construction delays, parking, etc. - Please have your tickets ready upon boarding.
  1. DRESS REQUIREMENTS
    - We ask our guests to please follow our “Business Casual” dress code. - Slacks, collared shirt, skirts, nice jeans or shorts are all welcome. - Ripped clothing and tank-tops are discouraged. - Open toe & heeled shoes are discouraged for safety reasons while the train is in motion.
  1. CANCELLATIONS
    - Tickets may be refunded up to one week before your event date within office hours (M-F, 8am-4pm). - Seat upgrades (dinner train) & last minute joining of parties may be accommodated, but are dependent on availability. - We do not allow refunds for the following: Missed Train, No Call/No Show, Seat changes due to weather. - A non-refundable, one-time exchange for a different date may be processed depending on availability. - Please see our Rules of the Rails for more information and details.
