Day One/Train Ride: Travel to Bellows Falls and Rockingham where you will board the fully restored 1930’s passenger train coaches and ride along the scenic Connecticut and Williams Rivers stopping along the way for pictures of the historic covered bridges and lovely waterfalls. This two hour journey brings you to the Chester Depot & station where you can visit our 1941 caboose on dispay.


This very special destination is Fox Chair Mountain Farm in Chester, Vermont where guests will take part in an old fashion summertime lobster bake or BBQ by the river! The train makes its way through the farm’s acreage along the Williams River where it will make its official stop. Passengers will be greeted by the Fox Chair Mountain Farm staff and guided to the large outdoor event tent where wood burning fires and food preparation can be seen and enjoyed. Plymouth Notch, Vermont is the birthplace and boyhood home of Calvin Coolidge, 30th President of the United States. The village is virtually unchanged since the early 20th century. The homes of Calvin Coolidge's family and neighbors, the community church, cheese factory, one-room schoolhouse, and general store have been carefully preserved, and many of the buildings have their original furnishings. The President is buried in the town cemetery.
