FROM BURLINGTON:


June 5 and 6 – School Trips – Burlington to Shelburne Museum
Departs Burlington at 10:00 with 10:30 arrival at Shelburne Museum. Depart Shelburne 11:00 for special trip to Ethan Allen Departs Shelburne Museum at 12:30 with arrival in Burlington at 1:00 pm. Special in conjunction with the Shelburne Museum, Spirit of Ethan Allen $5.00 per student.

June 24 and 25 – Train Collectors Association 2008 National Convention Burlington to Middlebury
Depart Burlington and travel to Middlebury 9:30-11:30 Lunch at the Fire and Ice Restaurant/tour Middlebury 11:30-2:30 Depart Middlebury and travel to Burlington 2:30-4:30

June 28 & 29 – Burlington Chew-Chew Festival
Pick up the train in Charlotte and ride to the Burlington waterfront for some of the greatest food around! Celebrate the Chew-Chew fest with a train ride, great food, and even stop at the Magic hat brewery to wash it down!
The Green Mountain Chew Chew is one of Vermont's finest food and music festivals, an annual event on the Burlington waterfront each June.

July 19 – Vermont Brew Fest
New England tradition in its 15th Year!
The beautiful Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain offer a truly magnificent backdrop for the Vermont Brewers Festival.

September 27 – Fall Foliage Dinner Train
Ride from Burlington to the Fire and Ice Restaurant. Live music on board! $75.00 per person. Departing Burlington at 3:00 pm with arrival in Middlebury at 4:30 Dinner served from 5:00 to 7:30 pm then returning to Burlington by 9:00 pm Dessert served on the train on the way back.


FROM BELLOWS FALLS:

Lobster Bake Train
Experience the fun of train travel from an era long since gone and share in a true New England tradition! Guests board the beautifully restored vintage passenger cars of the Green Mountain Flyer in Bellows Falls and travel through the Green Mountains and along the Connecticut and Williams rivers. The destination ... breathtaking Fox Chair Mountain Farm in Chester, Vermont where guests will take part in an old fashion summertime lobster bake by the river! (Alternate menus available. Motorcycle enthusiasts riding on motorcycles from Glens Falls to Chester Depot.
Will ride train from Chester Depot to Bellows Falls with catered meal on board by Heritage Deli.

August 2 – Bellows Falls Fireworks Special
Start your trip off with a barbeque at The Caboose at Chester Depot and ride to Bellows Falls to watch the fireworks from reserved seating at the Bellows Depot. Return to Chester Depot after the fireworks.
$12.00 includes snack and drink in Bellows Falls, barbeque is extra.

October 7 Bellows Falls to Rutland for the Rutland Limited
Spend all day riding the rails from Bellows Falls to Rutland. An approximate 9 hour round-trip with a layover in Rutland with time to grab a bite or walk around downtown Rutland. Box lunches Available. (MAC available for private charter.)
Depart 9 am - Return 6 pm (1.5 hour layover in Rutland)

October 4 – Fall Ludlow Limited and Chili Fest
This trip features an extended stop in Ludlow for the great chili cook-off! All you can eat chili, bread, apple cider and ice cream! Admission to chili fest is additional and can be purchased at the fest.

October 4 – Bellows Falls to Summit
Ride from Bellows Falls to Summit with a stop in Ludlow. An approximate 7 hour round-trip. There is no better way to take in the fall foliage!

October 4 – Ludlow to Summit: Wine Tasting Train
This is a one hour round trip ride with optional wine tasting and a "Ludlow Limited Wine Tasting Train" souvenir wine glass to take home.

Special rides and events with Hartford Parks and Recreation
Enjoy a rail fan day celebrating this 15th annual event.

October 15 – WRJ to Farm-Way Shopping Train.
This train will board in WRJ and travel to Bradford for lunch and shopping at the Farm-Way store. A short trip will commence from Bradford and travel to Ely and return for those boarding in Bradford for a short scenic run. (MAC available for private charter)
